Dallas, TX

I took the trip to Barranquilla, Colombia with 20+ others in 2009. We installed a rain water collection system at the LaRosa DeSaron School. It was a week of hard but satisfying work. We all chipped in to do whatever needed to be done. The school had an unreliable source of water from the community and after our installation they had a source of 15,000 gallons of clean water. The school serves a very poor area of Barranquilla and it was so rewarding to see how much the work we were doing was appreciated by the school and the students. It was a very loving, rewarding trip for me and all who helped.
